This page covers store policies and frequently asked questions (FAQs) for customers of the 1923 Main Street. Please review these policies before completing a purchase from the shop.

Delivery and Shipping

When will I get my order?

Currently, we only ship to addresses in the continental United States and Canada. We operate as a print-on-demand service, meaning each order is custom made when you complete the order. It usually takes anywhere from 3–12 days (some items take longer than others) to create the item(s) in an order, after which the order is shipped out.

The production and shipping times will vary and depend on your location and the product(s) ordered. For example, custom sewn items like leggings, dresses, rash guards and so on can take longer to produce because they are stitched together from scratch (versus a t-shirt, where a design only needs to be printed on the existing shirt).

Please note that the time from order to delivery is comprised of both production and shipping times. Generally, the time to receive your goods after placing an order can be estimated as follows:

  • USA: 3–18 business days

  • Canada: 4–22 business days

This is a big range, but illustrates typical times. Orders are usually shipped within a few day and can be received as fast as three or four days. However, as noted above, the location from where the item will be printed and shipped, you location and variable such as the time of year (busy periods, like Christmas holidays can increase production time due to heavier orders at the production shop) can all affect how quickly you will get your order.

We always aim to keep timelines as fast as possible. We do our best to use manufacturers with facilities closest to your delivery destination, but please keep in mind that some items can take longer than others for the reasons noted above.

Where will my order ship from?

We work with an on-demand order fulfillment company with facilities worldwide. We aim to work with suppliers located in the U.S. and Canada so we can expedite production and shipping times. Generally, your order will ship from the closest available facility to your address. Orders with multiple items may ship from more than one location.

Will I be charged customs fees or duty for my order?

An additional customs fees, brokerage fees and taxes can occur on Canadian and international orders.

These fees are not in our control and are assessed by your local customs office and the shipper brokerage. Customs policies vary widely for every country so please check with your local customs office directly to see if your order may be subject to duties and taxes before you purchase. While we make every effort to have products shipped from within your home country, for some products that are created at only one location, this cannot be done.

My order should be here by now, but I still don't have it. What should I do?

Before getting in touch with us, please do the following basic checks:

  • Check your shipping confirmation email for any mistakes in the delivery address

  • Ask your local post office if they have your package

  • Stop by your neighbors in case the courier left the package with them

If the shipping address was correct, and the package wasn't left at the post office or at your neighbor’s, get in touch with us at contact@1923mainstreet.com with your order number and we will investigate further.

 

Payments and Processing

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept secure payments through PayPal. You can pay by credit card through this payment process.

 

Orders

How are your products made?

We work with a print-on-demand print and shipment company. This is a large established organization with locations worldwide, so depending on where you are, your orders are printed and shipped from the facility that can complete the order most efficiently and that is nearest to your location. We try to have all production completed in North America in order to allow for the shortest production and delivery times. We will only use overseas production if it is the only option for a product, or on occasion when a product is out of stock in North America to a period of time.

How do I track my order?

You will receive a tracking link via email when your order ships. If you have any questions about your tracking or shipment, contact us at contact@1923mainstreet.com.

I received a wrong/damaged product, what should I do?

We are so sorry if the product you ordered arrived damaged. To help us resolve this for you quickly, please email us at contact@1923mainstreet.com within a week of receiving your order and include photos of the damaged product, your order number, and any other details you may have about your order. We will get back to you with a resolution as soon as possible.

Note: if you do not contact us within 21 days maximum of receiving your damaged/wrong product, we will not be able to offer any solution, so please do not hesitate.

 

Returns, Refunds and Exchanges

What is your return policy?  

Please note that we do not offer returns, as each product is custom made to order.

If there is something wrong with your order, please let us know by contacting us at contact@1923mainstreet.com.

Do not return items to the shipper without contacting us first (as they won’t know what to do with it). We use various production facilities, so returning an item to the shipper will cause undue delays and may result in lost product.

Do you offer refunds?

Please note that we do not offer refunds, as each product is custom made to order.

If you receive the wrong item or a damaged item, please contact us at contact@1923mainstreet.com with photos of wrong/damaged items and we will work with you to sort it out.

Can I exchange an item for a different size/color?

Please note that we do not offer exchanges.

All items are custom created especially for you. If you’re unsure which size would fit better, check our size guides. There is a size guide for every item listed in our shop and it is linked in the product description section of each item.

Though rare, it's possible that an item you ordered was mislabeled. If that’s the case, please let us know at contact@1923mainstreet.com within seven (7) days of receiving your order. Include your order number and photos of the mislabeled item, and we will work send you a new one.
